Coronavirus and angling

Coronavirus and angling - Readers Lake and Woodpeckers Fishery

The governments latest restrictions made no reference to angling. The Angling Trust has written to the government and asked for clarification given that at most lakes and rivers 'pegs' are more than 2 metres apart.
That said the advice from the Angling Trust is that members should not go fishing until the situation is clarified and should follow the advice given by government as currently published.  In the light of that advice Readers Lake is closed with immediate effect. We are aware that Woodpeckers has also closed.
